2006 Ipsum Rueda Blanco, Galicia, Spain  $8.99

This blend of Verdejo and Viura, two grape varieties indigenous to northwestern Spain is a lovely, is bright and crisp with some white pepper, lemon peel and mineral character.  This is simply lovely with the shrimp and will have no trouble with the green pungency of the cilantro and the spice of jalapeno.
